Alex Freitas ID+A is an interior design studio specialized in residential interior and architectural design. At Alex Freitas ID+A, we bring a fresh approach to elegant and tailored interiors through the use of a carefully collection of curated vintage, antique and modern elements. We find inspiration, drawn or interpreted, from both the unique vision and identity of our clients and the environments in which they live, work and play.
We embrace certain fundamental elements to which we believe all people respond to: daylight, texture, color, natural materials and the symbiotic relationship between space and architecture. A focus on detail and the creative use of materials help to create a distinctive and memorable experience to every project.
We are dedicated to excellence and we offer our clients a full design service in the areas required for both simple and complex design projects. Each project begins with the understanding of our clients’ passions and lifestyle to uncover meaningful elements that comfort and inspire. About the
Principal
Alex is a native of Brazil and a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York having also attended the architectural school at The City College of New York. Over the course of his career, Alex has worked on interior design projects all over the US, some of which have been featured in the world’s leading publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, House and Garden, Traditional Home, The Westchester Cottage & Garden, NYC Cottage & Gardens, New York Design Magazine, among many others.
